Description

INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO 6), intends to enter into a sole source procurement with Siemens Healthcare, 221 Gregson Dr, Cary, NC 27511. The procurement is a service maintenance plan on a Magnetom Aera, ECO Chiller and Medrad Spectris Solaris located at the Greenville HCC. The period of performance is 10/1/2016 through 9/31/2017. The service maintenance plan is on a DLA IDIQ contract SPM2D1-09-D-8314 with Siemens Healthcare. NAICS code 811219 applies to this procurement. The proposed contract action is for service for which the Government intends to procure from one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to meet this requirement. Vendors must be authorized by Siemens to service the above equipment. This notice of Intent is not a request for quotations. Interested parties who believe they can meet this requirement are to submit information to: Miriam LeMaitre, Contract Specialist, at miriam.lemaitre@va.gov. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. Responses must be received no later than 10:00 am, EST on September 15, 2016. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government.
