Description

Single Source Justification for Fluke Repair Service The 766th Specialized Contracting Squadron, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, HI intends to award a Purchase Order to FLUKE CORPORATION, to repair the Fluke 5790A AC Measurement Standard (serial number: AF/8200032 at the 15 th AMXS/MXMD Bldg 1060. The contractor will repair the Fluke 5790A AC Measurement Standard (serial number: AF/8200032). Service will include repair and calibration. Currently, wideband ranges unstable measurements, particularly noticeable during the testing of the 2.2mV range at 20KHz. The Government is unable to adjust the unit and bring it back to tolerance. Simplified Acquisition Procedures using FAR Part 13, Acquisition for Commercial Items will be used for this requirement. This is neither a request for quote or announcement of forthcoming solicitation. Interested sources that believe they can perform the services required may submit a capability statement to SrA Cody Schwart by 1:00PM, Hawaii Standard Time on 9 Sep 2016. The government will consider all responses but a determination by the Government not to compete this action is solely under the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive acquisition. If no viable responses are received by the due date, the Government will issue a Purchase Order to FLUKE CORPORATION.
