Description
Minimum Requirement/Specifications Advanced Real-Time Gel Electrophoresis System 1. Each offeror shall include their proposed delivery schedule (in days after award) as part of their quotation. Acceptance and FOB point should be designated as Destination. The following clauses and provisions apply to this acquisition. 52.252-2 Clauses Incorporated by Reference; 52.212-4 CONTRACT TERMS AND CONDITIONS - This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR, as supplemented with additional information. This announcement constitutes a solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation (RFQ) is attached. The solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The acquisition is should be considered Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code is 334516, business size standard is 1000. This solicitation document incorporates those provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-89. The Government intends to issue a firm-fixed price contract for this requirement. 2. The USDA, Agricultural Research Service, Wapato, WA 98951 has a requirement for an Advanced Real-Time Gel Electrophoresis System, specifications/requirement is attached to the solicitation. 3. Contractors intending to conduct business with the Federal Government MUST register with the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to submitting quotation. The SAM is the Government repository, which retains information on Government contractors. You may register online at www.sam.gov. Any amendment and documents related to this procurement will be available electronically at the Internet site: http://www.fbo.gov. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of these documents (if any). It is the offerors responsibility to monitor the site for release of the solicitation and any related documents. Furnish quotations to James Harris, Purchasing Agent at james.harris2@ars.usda.gov, no later than the response date and time listed in this solicitation. Quotations must be received by email, facsimile, or mail. Email is the preferred method for submittal. 5. SHIPPING: Indicate FOB location (to include cost of freight/shipping when applicable) and provide expected time to ship at time of order. Ship To: USDA-ARS Yakima Agricultural Research Laboratory 5230 Konnowac Pass Road Wapato, WA 98951 6. PAYMENT: Payment in full upon delivery of goods/services.
