Description

The Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Hunter Holmes McGuire Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) located at 1201 Broad Rock Boulevard in Richmond, Virginia will be soliciting offers for Chemical Waste Disposal Services. The contractor shall provide labor and all materials necessary to package, transport, and dispose of estimated quantities of excess and spent laboratory chemicals and flammable liquids from Laboratory, Research, and other departments in accordance with existing Federal, State, and local regulations. A request for Quote (RFQ) VA246-16-Q-1441 will be issued on or about September 6, 2016. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation. The period of performance is October 1, 2016 through September 30, 2017 or the base period, with four (4) one (1) year renewal options that can be exercised by the Government. The solicitation will provide instructions to contractors about the offer submission process. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective contractors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award; contractors may obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov. The applicable NAICS Code is 562211 Hazardous Waste Treatment and Disposal with a Small Business Size Standard of $38.5 million. The classification code is F108. The solicitation will be issued for a total small business set aside. All offerors are responsible for downloading all documents including amendments at the Federal Business Opportunities website without further notification from the Contracting Officer.
