Description

Amphibious Construction Battalion One (ACB-1), Naval Amphibious Base, Coronado, CA requires the repair of the existing Above Ground Vehicle Wash Rack System (AGVWS). A fully functional AGVWS that meets the mission requirement consists of a system that has the capability to clean and maintain Civil Engineer Support Equipment (CESE)/vehicles and meet mission readiness in an environmentally compliant manner. This procurement is a construction repair under IAW FAR Part 36 Construction Contracts. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 10 U.S.C. � 2304 (c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, �Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements � for this procurement action. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
