- CLAUSES FAR WAGE RATES CONTINUATION FORM SF-18 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for service prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, proposals are being requested and a written solicitation WILL NOT be issued. The solicitation number is HSCG29-17-Q-PNP001. This combined synopsis constitutes a solicitation and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2007. This acquisition is Small Business Set Aside. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 562111. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Clauses for Commercial items are included in this order and are applicable. Vendors doing business with the Coast Guard must be registered or be willing to register with (SAM) System for Award Management at www.SAM.gov. Please Fax or Email all quotes to Alvin Young. Fax 504-253-4550 alvin.young@uscg.mil This purchase will be based on the following criteria: Name brand, equal to or better. 1. DUMPSTER FOR SERVICE FOR BASE NEW ORLEANS, CONTRACTOR TO PROVIDE SERVICE, BASE YEAR PLUS FOUR (4) YEAR OPTIONS IF EXERCISED BY THE CONTRACT AND IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FOLLOWING: 52.217-9 OPTION TO EXTEND THE TERM OF THE CONTRACT (A) THE GOVERNMENT MAY EXTEND THE TERMS OF THIS CONTRACT BY WRITTEN NOTICE TO THE CONTRACTOR WITHIN 60 DAYS; PROVIDED THAT THE GOVERNMENT GIVES THE CONTRACTOR A PRELIMINARY WRITTEN NOTICE OF ITS INTENT TO EXTEND AT LEAST 60 DAYS BEFORE THE CONTRACT EXPIRES. THE PRELIMINARY NOTICE DOES NOT COMMIT THE GOVERNMENT TO AN EXTENSION. The Government will award a contract resulting from this Request for Quote (RFQ) to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the RFQ is the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) quote. The lowest price quote will be evaluated on technical acceptability. If it is found to be acceptable, an award will be made. If it is found to be unacceptable, the next lowest price will be evaluated. This process will continue until a technically acceptable offer is identified; not all offers will be evaluated. 52.249-4 -- TERMINATION FOR CONVENIENCE OF THE GOVERNMENT (SERVICES). TERMINATION FOR CONVENIENCE OF THE GOVERNMENT (SERVICES) (SHORT FORM) (APR 1984) THE CONTRACTING OFFICER, BY WRITTEN NOTICE, MAY TERMINATE THIS CONTRACT, IN WHOLE OR IN PART, WHEN IT IS IN THE GOVERNMENT'S INTEREST. IF THIS CONTRACT IS TERMINATED, THE GOVERNMENT SHALL BE LIABLE ONLY FOR PAYMENT UNDER THE PAYMENT PROVISIONS OF THIS CONTRACT FOR SERVICES RENDERED BEFORE THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF TERMINATION.
