NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD NONCOMPETITIVE PROCUREMENT Requisition No.: VA260-16-Q-0955Date of Notice: 09/12/2016 Contracting Officer: DIANA CURLClosing Date: 09/15/2015 This notice will appear for 3 days from above date. ****************************************************************************** Description of Supplies/Services: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Spokane, WA, requires services, non - personal, to upgrade their camera infrastructure. Spokane is attempting to address the upgrades by replacing all existing CCTV system main POE/Fiber switches with new ones. This includes adding UPS units to all switch locations outside of building 1. UPS units will be added in the building 39, Generator Shack, building 30, IT closet, and building 5, IT closet. The Government intends to award this requirement noncompetitively, IAW FAR 13.106-1(b) (1), to Allied Fire and Security. Spokane has an "Open Eye system" that is tied into a comprehensive security system controlled by AMAG. Allied Fire and Security is a sole source vendor for this system. Other interested concerns having the ability to furnish these services/supplies shall submit a capabilities statement to the Contracting Officer no later than the closing date of this announcement. All submissions will be evaluated to determine if competitive opportunities exist. This is NOT an RFQ. This does represent the Government's only written notice of this procurement. All responsible sources may submit a response which, if timely received, must be considered by the agency. The estimated/potential $149,900.00 Place of Performance: Spokane, WA ****************************************************************************** ****************************************************************************** This notice and any resulting contract or order conforms to the requirements in place through FAC 05-89 (effective August 15, 2016).
