- Description
- Description(s): The National Institute of Environmental Health Science (NIEHS) intends to award a purchase order to InterPro Solutions, LLC, 105Central Street, Suite 3100, Stoneham, MA 02180. The North American industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334614 and the business size standard is 1250. NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) IS AVAILABLE. It has been determined that InterPro Soultions, is the only known responsible source capable of providing the required instrument and no other product will satisfy the agency's requirements. The purpose of this requirement is to purchase EZMaxMobile barcode scanning software licenses. There is a need to scan barcodes matched with inventory to increase efficiency when conducting quarterly inventories. The Barcode Scanner should be able to: -Print barcode labels on a label with information such as item, stock level and location -Scan the barcode, display the item, and prompt the user to enter quantity allowing for numerical stock level entry -Upload scanned information into the IMS system, which then automatically adjusts all system inventory levels In addition the following is required: EZMaxMobile software licenses (4); Annual maintenance and support; Initial installation and configuration of EZMaxMobile; Offline configuration of EZMaxMobile. TheEZMxMobile barcode scanning software is the only software product that can be used to interact with IBM's Maximo application system in both real-time (connected via wifi or phone carrier service) as well as offline (disconnected) modes. Since the NIEHS uses IBM's Maximo application system for inventory management, it is incumbent on the NIEHS to use the EZMaxMobile software solution. This notice of intent is not a solicitation or request for quotes. Notwithstanding, any firm that believes it is capable of meeting NIEHS' requirement, as stated herein, may submit their corporate capabilities, which, if received by the response date of this announcement, may be considered. Responses to this posting must be in writing and shall be emailed to Valarie K. Sims at sims3@niehs.nih.gov and are due by 90:00 AM on September 16, 2016. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
