Description

The Roseburg OR VA Medical Center requires a Tractor to be used for grounds maintenance and work and must meet the following Minimum Salient Characteristics required for Tractor. This procurement is for verified SDVOSBs authorized to sell the required items - Roseburg VA "45 HP or greater "Diesel Engine "13.5 gallon fuel capacity "500 cca battery "4WD "Power Steering "Dual Gear hydrologic pump "3 point hitch "Reflective ROPS strips for better tractor visibility during hours of darkness or decreased visibility "Safety certified folding roll over protective structure "Must be equipped with the common rail system (CRS) to optimize fuel economy and reduce operating costs "Must be equipped with an electronic control unit (ECU) to provide for optimum fuel control and accuracy "Must come with a key switch interlock to prevent bypass starting "Reverse implement option for safe mid-PTO operation "Must have turn signal and flashing warning lights according to ASAE S279.10 standards "Must have taillights for road transport "Water pump cooling system "Engine must meet all current Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) emission requirements for Final Tier 4 emission standards "3 filter cleaning system for optimal performance "Economical cast-in-block cylinder engine design for good cooling and long life "Direct fuel injection to improve starting "Hybrid exhaust: "Discharges fumes away from the operator and reduces noise from the engine "Improves operator visibility "Lift capacity, 24-inch behind link arms - up to 2200 lbs "Dual gear pumps provides a constant flow of oil for both power steering and 3-point hitch operation "Visibility - must be 360 degree angle "Alternator (12V) - 75 Amp "Multi-Plate wet disc brakes "Standard Cruise Control "Cab must be compliant with OSHA, SAE and CSA standards for roll-over protection Accessories to include: "61" Loader attachment and mounting hardware "Designed for easy removal and mounting to and from the tractor without tools "Must include a parking stand to attach to the front frame of the tractor "18" heavy duty Backhoe attachment and mounting hardware "Buckets must be equipped with bolt-on, replaceable, bucket teeth "Platform must be easy to remove for service and to gain access to the valve "Efficient hose routing for better serviceability "Must have an externally mounted boom cylinder "Must include a custom thumb to allow for movement of large and or uneven shaped objects "Must be mid-mount mower compatible "Must be able to swing at 180 degrees "72 auto connect iron Mower attachment "Must be compatible with rear 3-point hitch attachments, backhoes, loaders, and front hitch.
