Intent to Sole Source: Boston Scientific Corporation Special Notice Number: N0025916N0211 THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Naval Medical Center San Diego anticipates making a sole source award under statutory authority 41 U.S.C. 253(c) (1) and FAR 13.106-1(b) (1) (i), only one responsible source, with: Boston Scientific Corporation 300 Boston Scientific Way Marlborough, MA 01752 The objective of this sole source award is to procure the following Surgical Ablation supplies by Boston Scientific Corporation: Viking Fixed Curve Diagnostic Catheter, Blazer II XP Temperature Ablation Catheter, associated leads, System Embolic Protection filter wire and 6 FR Woven Fixed Bipolar Catheter. Associated part numbers are as follows: 4500THMK2, 4500THM, M004560001A0, M004200088P0, M004560002A0, M0042003380, and H749201001900. Boston Scientific is the only known source capable of meeting this requirement. The NAICS code for this requirement is 339112. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. Information received by 2:00 PM Pacific Time on September 14, 2016 may be considered by the Government. Responses shall be submitted to Elizabeth Sanders at elizabeth.n.sanders.civ@mail.mil. The email subject line shall state, "Special Notice Number N0025916N0211" "A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
