- The USDA Forest Service/Job Corps Program has a requirement for Trash Services for the Mingo Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center located in Puxico, MO. The Government anticipates making a single contract award with a one-year base period and four one-year option periods to fulfill this requirement. This announcement is not a solicitation; no response is due at this time. All requirements shall be included in the solicitation, which shall be posted on the FedBizOpps website. A Request for Quotations (RFQ) will be issued by this office. We anticipate the solicitation will be issued on or around Friday, September 16, 2016; however, this date may change, and all interested parties should check back regularly for any possible changes to this notice. Anyone wishing to participate in this anticipated procurement must obtain the solicitation and any amendments from the FBO website. Copies will not be mailed from the Contracting Office. All amendments will be posted on FBO. This requirement is being solicited under FAR 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) with the intent to award a Fixed Price Contract. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. NOTE 1: All prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at http://www.sam.gov before award of contract; failure to register in the SAM database may cause your firm to be ineligible for the award and removed from consideration. NOTE 2: Funds are presently available for this effort. The Government reserves the right to cancel the anticipated solicitation at any time. In the event the Government cancels the anticipated solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse interested vendors for any costs.
