Description
The U.S. Army Contracting Command - APG, Natick Contracting Division - Orlando office, intends to award a firm fixed price contract under FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency Requirements, to Spirit of America dba Perimeter Security Products for purchasing 6 Urban Terrorism Barricades 4' and 2 Drop Arms Gates 12' to provide portable drop arm gate that does not require it to be bolted to a concrete pad for installation. The drop arm gate is designed so that it can be mounted to a concrete pad with bolts or be placed where needed with the purchase of blocks that can be filled with sand or water to hold units in place. The installation needs this product to be able to be moved around to different locations when use is needed. The system will be used to block roadways on the installation during MWR events. The drop arm barrier system will block roadway, but also allow vehicles to pass by raising the arm manually. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent to sole source is not a request for competitive quotations; however, the Government will not consider responses received after September 19, 2016 @ 2 PM Eastern Time. Responses shall be submitted to laurie.s.palicki.ctr@mail.mil. Responses shall include, at a minimum, the following information: 1. The name of your company: 2. Company DUNS No.; 3. POC name and contact information; 4. The specific product(s) that your company offers that fulfills the same function as the items to be included on this order or evidence that your company is capable of providing the specific items mentioned above; and, 5. A description of that product(s) and its overall capabilities. 6. The subject line of the email shall state "Millimeter Wave Spectrometer" or it will be deleted as junk mail. It is your responsibility to demonstrate how your product(s) is capable of providing the same functionality. The Government will not seek additional information from your company if you fail to provide sufficient evidence of having a product capable of meeting the Government's needs. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government's Contracting Officer. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
