This is Sources Sought (SS) Notice only. This is not a request for proposal. There is no solicitation available at this time. The Government will not pay for any information received in response to this SS, nor will the Government compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing the information provided to the Government. The SS does not constitute a commitment by the Government. Any information provided in response to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only and will not be released. Any proprietary information submitted will be protected if appropriately marked. Vendor participation is not a promise of future business with the Government. The purpose of this SS is to conduct market research to determine an acquisition strategy for Preventative Maintenance of Deionization (DI) Water Purification and Filtration Systems for Richard L Roudebush VA Medical Center in Indianapolis, IN. NCO 10 is conducting market research to determine if there is a sufficient number of certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), Hubzone Small Businesses, Woman Owned Small Businesses (WOSB), or 8(a) firms capable of performing the requirements to warrant a solicitation set-aside. The proposed solicitation is for establishment of Preventative Maintenance of DI Water Purification and Filtration Systems to include changing of DI tanks for Richard L Roudebush VA Medical Center in Indianapolis, IN. Contractor shall conduct preventative maintenance and sanitization of systems as well as exchanging the DI tanks (mixed bed, anion, cation and carbon) quarterly. Estimated solicitation issue date is on or around September 29, 2016 with an estimated award date of November 1, 2016. The intended contact base period is anticipated to be one base year with four one-year option periods. Responses to this notice shall be e-mailed to Nikki Horther at nikki.horther@va.gov. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Responses shall be received in writing no later than 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 20, 2016.
