Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 6, Hunter Holmes McGuire VA Medical Center, Richmond, VA, IAW FAR 6.302-1 intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Evoqua Water Technologies, 7911 Reycan Rd, Richmond, VA 23237. The Contractor will provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, lodging and supervision necessary to perform preventative maintenance for the Evoqua Deionized Water System located in the Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Department at the Hunter Holmes McGuire VAMC, 1201 Broad Rock Blvd, Richmond, VA 23249. This action will result in a Firm-Fixed Price contract with a period of performance of twelve (12) months with four (4) pre-priced one year options for renewal. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive quotes. It is not a solicitation or request for offers; however, interested parties may express their interest by providing a capabilities statement NLT 20 September, 2016 at 3:00 PM EST. The capabilities statement must provide clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate the capability of the party to provide the required services. A determination not to compete this proposed contract is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered.
