DATE 21 SEPTEMBER 2016 The purpose of Amendment 0002 is to: a) Answer Pre-Quotation Inquiries Question 1) the SOW, page 3, paragraph 1.2.2 - Item b. states install wire management and SC Fiber Optic Patch Panel, however, in item e. it states to terminate both ends with LC connectors. Can you please clarify as this is confusing? It would appear one side would terminate SC and the other LC. Govt Response: The fiber optic patch panel in 1.2.2.b should be a multi-mode (MM) LC fiber optic patch panel, not SC. Question 2) For the classified network infrastructure, is there existing conduit runs from the SIPRNET lockable enclosure to the end user? If not, is the selected contractor to provide along with typical SIPRNET setup? (i.e. epoxy all joints etc ¦) Govt Response: The existing renovation project will install the conduits. For this requirement the vendor will need to pull the cable through the conduit. Question 3) There is an on-going renovation project for building 18011. Will this affect installation? Govt Response: The current renovation project is scheduled to be partially completed mid-December 2016. The required area is planned to be turned over to the customer and the vendor will be contacted at that time to schedule the installation. b) All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
