Description

Solicitation Sole Source Justification The Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR) in Silver Spring, MD hosts a central repository of multi-drug resistant organisms (MDROs). Isolates are sent to the WRAIR from Department of Defense (DoD) Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs) and other non-DoD MTFs throughout the world. MDRO prevalence is increasing and, as such, more samples are being submitted for processing. To meet the increased demand, we are seeking acquisition of a Bruker CA MALDI Mass Spectrometer to provide critical support to the Infection Control Improvement Initiatives.
