Description

VLE-LMS, Justification & Approval document. The Joint Improvised-Threat Defeat Agency (JIDA), Contract Operations Division, 5000 Army Pentagon, Washington, DC, 20310-5000, is synopsizing its intent to award a sole source contract to Leidos, Inc., 11951 Freedom Drive, Reston, VA 20191-5640. Pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 8.405-6, for the procurement of maintenance and integration of JIDA training into the Learning Management System (LMS) and the development, testing, and sustainment of courseware; acquisition, installation, and sustainment of applicable hardware and software. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract and is not a request for competitive proposals; however any challenges to this sole source within thirty (30) days after date of publication of this synopsis must be received in writing and sent to Contract Specialist at john.m.pleasant.civ.mail.mil to be considered by the Government for the purpose of determining whether or not to compete the requirement. Challenges must include information sufficient to enable the Government's needs as stated herein. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. A limited sources justification is attached to this notice. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 519190, All Other Information Services. The anticipated award date is no later than NLT, 2 December 2016.
