- The U.S. Government is seeking sources to support a contract for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) for the Australian government. The purpose of this Market Research is to identify sources that can manufacture and supply an exportable AN/ARC-201D radio that is SINCGARS compatible. This radio must meet the specifications below: AN/ARC-201D or equivalent: • 30-88 MHz VHF-FM • 2,320 channels • Power Output 10 watts nominal • Harmonic Suppression MIL-STD 461A • Power Input 10W radio • Primary Power 28 Vdc per MIL-STD 704 (<5 Amps maximum) • Jam-resistant communications • Voice and data • Automatic retransmit • Built-in amplitude homing • Integrated COMSEC • Integrated DRA functions: • TACFIRE and SINCGARS data modes: 600, 1200, 2400, 4800, 16,000 bps • Enhanced packet data modes: 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, RS-232 • Packet EDM mode is 16 kbps (only RS-423) • 1553B bus provides radio control and GPS data input/output • Built-in test • AM-7189A/ARC-compatible • Six FH presets (including TRANSEC keys) • Six single channel presets plus manual and cue channels • Voice and data retransmit in packet • Improved noisy channel avoidance to enhance FH synchronization • ESIP waveform compatible • Situational Awareness • Replaces bus radio (RT-1478), DRA (CV-3885) and external COMSEC • MIL-STD-1553B compatible • Provides 1553B control of AM-7189A/ARC 40W amplifier The contractor must be able to support all technical, operational, safety, interoperability and security testing requirements. The contractor company must be ISO 9001-2008 certified. Company must be registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Please submit all responses, to include a detailed description of contractor qualifications and experience no later than October 17th 2016. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT MARKET SURVEY. THERE IS NO SOLICATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. Any information submitted by respondents to this synopsis is strictly voluntary. This market survey does not constitute a Request for Proposals (RFP) or a request for sealed bids (IFB), nor does it issuance restrict the Government as to its ultimate acquisition approach. The Government will neither award a contract solely on the basis of this notice, nor pay respondents for any information that they submit in response to this Sources Sought request. The United States Army CECOM LCMC is conducting this sources sought market survey to determine potential sources capable of fulfilling a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) requirement.
