Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center is issuing this Sources Sought to identify potential small, bondable, and experienced construction businesses such as: (1) Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB): (2) Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB); (3) 8(a) contractors, (4) HUBZone Small Businesses, (5) Women Owned Small Businesses (WOSB), (6) Small Business, etc, that are capable of meeting this construction requirement and obtain the required bonding capability. Project includes the construction of a large new Building 5 addition and renovation of the 6th floor D-Wing and 8th Floor C-Wing at the Department of Veterans Affairs Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center campus in Indianapolis, Indiana. All workers on-site must be OSHA certified (at least one competent person onsite at all times must have 30 hour certificate and all other workers, prime and subcontractors, must have 10 hour certificate). Construction time allotted for all work will be 840 calendar days from the receipt of Notice to Proceed. In accordance with VAAR 836.204, the magnitude of this construction project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220, small business size standard of $36.5M in average annual receipts for the preceding three years. Interested firms should be registered in SAM.gov and qualified as a small business under this NAICS code. Qualified service disabled veteran owned small businesses are encouraged to respond.
