Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: NEIE Medical Waste Services, LLC 3100 New Kent Hwy Quinton, VA 23141 is currently removing biomedical/infectious waste for Veterans Integrated Service Network 4 medical centers under contract VA244-14-C-0179. Network Contracting Office 4 intends to increase the estimated quantities in the contract because of an unanticipated growth in biomedical/infectious waste. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. Responsible sources may identify their interest by submitting capability information by no later than 4:00 PM Eastern on October 13, 2016 in order to establish the ability of the source to meet this requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs associated with the preparation of responses to this notification. All inquiries and submittals must be sent via email to John Barton, contract specialist, at johnny.barton@va.gov. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted.
