Description

Notice of Intent to Sole Source AMIA 2016 Annual Symposium The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Program Contract Activity Central (PCAC) intends to solicit to only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106, "Soliciting from a Single Source." The VA intends to solicit to the American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA) to provide registrations for the AMIA 2016 Annual Symposium. The registration will permit attendance to the AMIA 2016 Annual Symposium to be held in Chicago Illinois, on November 12-16, 2016. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Responses to this notice are due on or before Friday October 18, 2016, 9:00 AM EST by email to Richard.Webb3@va.gov, and copy Bernadette.Bodzenta@va.gov.
