Description
Subject: Configured-Differential AC Powered Pressure Sensor This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation/commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of potential Small Businesses, including Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) and Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 334513 (Instruments and Related Products Manufacturing for Measuring, Displaying, and Controlling Industrial Process Variables) with a size standard of 750 employees. Mesa Electronics is known to meet the Government's needs. The Government is requesting that responsible sources respond if they can provide AC Differential Pressure Sensor, Configured-Differential Pressure Sensor, Wall Plate Assembly - Diff Pressure-Wall plate assembly for thru-wall differential pressure, PrimexIAQ Series Sensor, Temp / Hum, Configured-PrimexIAQ Series Ambient Temp / Humidity Sensor with Batteries, Power Supply, PrimexTEMP/IAQ Series-5 VDC (1 A max) power supply for PrimexTEMP Series sensors, mini USB (type B) connector, North America plug, and provide installation with the following salient characteristics: 1. Must be True cloud architecture allowing all collected data to be viewed from one web site (one log on). 2. Continuous monitoring sensor can be set to log and report data as frequently as every 4 minutes 3. Sensors must have LCD display showing readings and diagnostics 4. The system must be able to immediately issue audible and visual alerts and initiates an automated email alert/phone. 5. Must be a true cloud-based application 6. Only requiring IT assistance in configuring the sensor for the organization's network. 7. Requires no servers or software to maintained onsite 8. All application updates are applied by Vendor. 9. Must have the option for Facilities personnel to pre-configure the PrimexTEMP or PrimexIAQ sensors before shipment so they automatically find the appropriate network when they are plugged in at the site. 10. Must use encryption protocols combined with 802.11n compatibility to ensure secure communications 11.Show pressure differential to = or -.001 inches H2O (+ or - 2.0Pa) 13. Must be able to customize sensor threshold settings. 14. Configurable sensor automatically captures and documents sensor readings. 15. When sensors detect conditions are out of tolerance, the system will automatically call, email or text the key individual designated for the specific monitored asset at that time of day This is not a Request for Quote or an announcement of a solicitation and no solicitation package exists at this time. Your responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submissions will not be returned to the sender. VOSBs and SDVOSBs are required to be registered and verified in VIP (https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov) for consideration. Responses must be submitted by e-mail to Antanette.Shellaugh@va.gov. The information requested must be received no later than 3:00 pm Central Standard Time on Thursday, October 20, 2016.
