Description

The VA Maine Healthcare System is seeking a contractor to replace and repair leaking and eroded 2" tubes in # 2 Cleaver Brooks 60,000 lb./h water tube, 2 pass boiler in building 238. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials and equipment to perform work associated with the replacement of leaking and damaged tubes in the outside row of the Generator Bank. Removal of inner and outer skin on top of the boiler and the outer skin on the side of the boiler all beginning from the rear left hand corner. Demo and dispose of 15 water tubes in rear left hand corner. Upon completion of replacement tubes contractor will Hydro Boiler and Smoke Test. Contractor will repair refractory and insulation damaged during tube replacement and reinstall existing side and top walls. This is a Pre-Solicitation and offers will not be accepted from this pre-solicitation.
