- Purchase Description dated 26 September 2016 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT RESULT IN AN ORDER AGAINST AN FEDERAL SUPPLY SCHEDULE. ANY OFFER WHICH IS PREDICATED UPON THE AWARD BEING PLACED AGAINST AN FSS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED SMALL BUSINESS SIZE STANDARD: (a) NAICS:511210 (b) NR OF EMPLOYEES:$38.5 million The purchase of (1 each, VxWorks 5.5.1 OEM License MPC74xx and 2 each, Mfr: Wind River Systems Justification for Sole Source: The embedded hardware that runs the Operational Flight Program (OFP) being maintained is supported by products that are very specific to the choice of operating system and compiler because of strict realtime performance requirements. All of the software used in the MTS-B system is designed to utilize the Wind River Vxworks/Tornado Real-Time Operating System (RTOS), Tornado Integrated Development Environment (IDE), Debugging tools, and C++ compiler support and runtime l libraries. Price(s) should be FOB Destination (Robins AFB GA 31098). In addition to price and delivery, quote should include your cage code, DUNS number, and taxpayer ID number. Requested delivery date is 15 days ARO or earlier. Quotations should be emailed to Veronica Henderson (veronica.henderson.1@us.af.mil) no later than 26 Oct 2016, 4:00 pm EST. The anticipated award date is 08 Nov 2016. Please do not request award status prior to this date.
