ATTENTION****FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO Terry Carter (256) 313-2005_ and _Felicia Dortch (256) 876-4964_. You may FAX or mail your request ATTN: CCAM-SM-B, Terry Carter, Contracting Officer, FAX number 256-842-7684. NO TELEPHONE REQUEST WILL BE ACCEPTED. The US Army Contracting Command -Redstone has a sole source requirement to procure support for Counter-Rocket, Artillery, Mortar (C-RAM). This acquisition is for the insertion of an improved secure communication capability for the existing Rocket, Artillery, Mortar (RAM) Warn System. The RAM Warn primary mission is to alert U.S. Forces of enemy indirect fire (IDF) attacks. The period of performance will be twelve months from date of award. The anticipated contract type will be cost plus fixed fee. Pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 (a)(2)(iii)(A). Northrop Grumman Space and Mission Systems Corporation (NGSC), 5000 Bradford Drive, Suite 100, Huntsville AL (CAGE Code: 0RBN7). Any responsible source may submit a proposal which shall be given due consideration by the agency. Number note 22 is revised as follows: The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within fifteen days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
