Description

NOTICE OF INTENT: The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO 16, intends to award a firm- fixed price, short-term Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to Beckman Coulter, Inc, 250 S. Kraemer Blvd., Brea, CA 92821 for continued usage of contractor-owned equipment on-site at VISN 16 locations utilized by VA Lab personnel to perform chemistry-immunochemistry testing. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation for offers. This announcement is for reagents, consumables, supplies, etc. needed to produce a CPRR (cost-per-reportable result) for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 8.405-6, limiting sources.   The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 334516 with a Small Business Size Standard of 1,000 employees. This is for informational purposes only and not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Any information submitted in response to this notice of intent is strictly voluntary. No solicitation document is available.
