- Sole Source J&A Curtiss Wright - REDACTED FOR FBO_Redacted This is a Sole Source requirement to Curtiss-Wright Engineered Pump Division for on-site field service, technical direction, and assistance for the Main Seawater (MSW) Pump on a Virginia class submarine. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. Curtiss-Wright owns the proprietary equipment, proprietary drawings, special tooling, and is experienced in performing the appropriate procedures and services required. Curtiss Wright, as the pump OEM, is the only vendor that is authorized to accomplish the requirement procedures. See attached Justification & Approval for details.
