- Description
- RE-SOLICITATION GLOBAL FUND LIAISON The Global Fund Liaison will be either a U.S. Personal Services Contractor or a Third-Country National, placed within the U.S. Embassy community under Chief of Mission Authority. The position’s function for improved liaison with the Global Fund is to facilitate better coordination between the USG and Global Fund grantees (Government of Malawi/MOH and NGOs/CSOs) and contribute to better Global Fund grant implementation overall. The incumbent shall provide public health technical, analytic, administrative and managerial advice assistance in support of all Global Fund activities in Malawi. This includes providing comprehensive, senior level public health advice and technical assistance on Global Fund and other external stakeholder issues to the United States Government (USG) Interagency Team in Malawi. Specific USG programs include 1) the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) Malawi Program, 2) the President’s Malaria Initiative (PMI) Malawi Program and 3) Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and USAID Tuberculosis (TB) programs. In addition, the incumbent will work with the PEPFAR Deputy Coordinator on engagement with multilateral organizations, such as UNAIDS, and Civil Society.
