Acquisition Plan Number: VA701-17-AP-0013 Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature (CINAHL) The Department of Veterans Affairs, Program Contract Activity - Central intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), Only One Responsible Source Available, no other source will satisfy agency requirements. The VA intends to solicit and negotiate with: EBSCO Information Services, Federal Division, 30 Park Road Suite 2, Tinton Falls, NJ 07724; for the purchase of a subscription to CINAHL Nursing and Allied Healthcare Bibliographic and Full Text database. For the purpose of this notice, this product includes a comprehensive collection of indexed, abstracted and full-text journal information. This product s emphasis is on nursing and allied health care patient-oriented information, treatment guidelines, continuing education, and other related health education resources. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
