- THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL SERVICES. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate a firm-fixed priced contract with only one source, Timken Gears and Services Inc. (CAGE 0YAS7) (new legal entity of Philadelphia Gear). Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all quotes with supporting documents received before the closing date of this RFQ will be considered by the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The solicitation number is N68171-17-T-6002 and is issued as a RFQ. Quotes must be submitted by email to the two points of contact. It is the responsibility of the offeror to submit offers to the POCs at NAVSUP FLCSI site Rota by the closing date and time.
