- Description
- The General Services Administration, Public Building Services at the Caribbean Field Office in Puerto Rico has the intention to award a consolidated contract for Building Operations and Maintenance Services for the following four (4) Federal Office Building locations: Federico Degetau Federal Office Building & Clemente Ruiz Nazario U.S. Courthouse including the Federal Parking Garage and Rain Forest Kids Child Care Center in Hato Rey, Puerto Rico; the Jose V. Toledo Federal Office Building & U.S. Courthouse in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico; the Ron De Lugo Federal Office Building & U.S. Courthouse in Christiansted, St. Thomas U.S. Virgin Islands ; and the AlmericL. Christian Federal Office Building & U.S. Courthouse in Charlotte Amalie, St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. The Contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, materials, supplies and equipment (except as otherwise provided), and shall plan, schedule, coordinate and assure effective performance of all services described herein. The Contractor will be required to provide management, operations, maintenance and repairs related services during the initial twelve (12) months of service in accordance with the requirements of this solicitation and prices for basic and alternate services. The Period of Performance is (1) one base year 01 November 2017 to 31 October 2018 and four (4) one year options periods to be exercised on a yearly basis. This procurement is 100% set aside competitive 8(a) Small Business Development Program for NAICS code 561210. Therefore, this acquisition is being offered for competition limited to eligible 8(a) concerns. The solicitation will be issued and posted on Federal Business Opportunities on or about December 5, 2016; hard copies of the solicitation will not be mailed. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor Federal Business Opportunities web (https://www.fbo.gov) for additional information pertaining to this requirement. Questions regarding this announcement shall be submitted in writing by email to the Contract Specialist Belkys Torres at belkys.torresrivera@gsa.gov. Verbal questions will NOT be accepted. Questions will be answered by posting frequently asked questions at Federal Business Opportunities web (https://www.fbo.gov); accordingly, questions shall NOT contain proprietary or classified information. The Government does not guarantee that questions for this announcement will be answered after December 5, 2016. All interested offerors must attend the site visits that will take place on or about a week after the solicitation is issued. The locations, date and time for these site visits will be stated in the solicitation.
