Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD BRAND NAME: Letterkenny Army Depot (LEAD) intends to award a Brand Name, Firm-Fixed Price contract under the authority of FAR 13.106(b)(1)(i). The Government intends to procure parts and components for RG-31 Parts Kit Heater, Original Equipment Manufacture (OEM), in support of the RG-31 Medium Mine Protected Vehicle Program. The OEM is Active Gear of Canada Ltd., Cage Code 38453, 201 Snidercroft Rd Concord, Ontario, L4K 2J9,Canada. The Government will consider all proposals from all responsible sources (manufacture and approved distributors) with the capability to provide the brand name cited and will award a contract resulting from solicitation W911N2-17-Q-0010 to the responsible vendor whose offering conforms to the solicitation and is considered to be most advantageous to the Government. No other brand name will be considered by the Government for this procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 336992 - Military Armored Vehicle, Tank, and Tank Component Manufacturing. The small business size standard is 1,500 employees. The estimated release date for the solicitation is O/A 18 November 2016 with a closing date O/A 2 December 2016. The solicitation will only be available electronically via the Government Point of Entry (GPE), www.FBO.gov.
