Description

The VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System, 11301 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90073, has a requirement to install anti-scald devices and mixing valves, various buildings. A Firm-Fixed Price award is anticipated. The contractor shall provide services to include all tools, labor, materials, and supervision necessary to prepare site for building operations, including applicable demolition, removal of existing structures, and other services necessary to perform work for Buildings 99, 207, 209, 212, 213, 214, 215, 217, 257, 525 and 512 as required by drawings and specifications for project 691-15-130WL, Install Anti-Scald Devices and Mixing Valves, Various Buildings. The magnitude of this VA construction project is estimated to be between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. The Period of Performance for this project will be 300 calendar days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. This solicitation will be issued pursuant to the Veterans First Public Law 109-461 as a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. The NAICS code for this project is 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, and the small business size standard is $36.5 Million. Interested bidders must be listed in the VetBiz.gov Vendor Information Pages at www.vetbiz.gov, and currently registered in the System for Award Management, www.sam.gov. Solicitation documents, including technical specifications and project drawings, will be available electronically on or about December 5, 2016, at www.fedbizopps.gov. Interested bidders should search for solicitation VA262-17-B-0060 to access solicitation documents and any amendments. A Ninety day bid acceptance period will be required. Bid Bond will be required. Only Hardcopy bids will be accepted. A Pre-Bid Conference and Site Visit will be held, date/time/location to be provided in the solicitation.
