Description
This is a PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE of a proposed requirement to award one (1) Microplate Reader system. This action also requires shipping and all necessary items to immediately start processing. # Description Est. Qty. Unit 1 BIO-TEK SYNERGY 2 MULTI-DETECTION MICROPLATE READER WITH FLUORESCENCE INTESITY AND UV/VISABLE ABSORBANCE INCLUDES GEN 5 SOFTWARE, MICRO-VOLUME PLATE, BASIC INSTALLATION AND TRAINING. OR AN EQUAL ITEM IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE SPECIFICATIONS. 1 EA Salient Characteristics Microplate Reader One (1) multi-detection microplate reader capable of detection with fluorescence intensity and UV/visible wavelength absorbance. The multiple detection capability allows for the use of an increased number of assay types that will both improve data production and greatly increase the sensitivity of sample detection. The instrument must be compatible with numerous well plate formats and sample volumes as low as 2 µl. In addition the instrument must have built-in temperature control for use with temperature sensitive assays. Completely modular with fluorescence intensity, luminescence and absorbance detection available in any combination Time resolved fluorescence and fluorescence polarization capability High sensitivity Alpha detection capability using cost-effective, user replaceable tungsten lamp design Up to 3 broad spectrum light sources: tungsten halogen and high energy DPR xenon flash for fluorescence, xenon flash for absorbance. Deep blocking interference filters and dichroic mirrors for fluorescence Monochromator for absorbance, with 2.4 bandpass Compatible with 6-, 12-, 24-, 48-, 96-, 384- and 1536-well plates for fluorescence and absorbance. Optional dual reagent dispensers with syringe pumps and back flush capability Broad dynamic range to >5,000,000 RFU in fluorescence mode Compatible with 2 ul low volume microplate accessory with 16 or 48 sample microspots for direct nucleic acid quantification as well as fluorescence and luminescence measurements Temperature control to 65 degree C with a 4-zone temperature control system with uniformity across the microplate of +-0.5 degree C at 37 degree C to limit edge effects in incubated assays Automated Z-height adjustment to automatically accommodate for various microplate heights and fluid levels Automatic, individually well-by-well absorbance path length correction to automatically calculate 1 cm path length corrected results and compensate for pipetting errors. Gen5 software for data collection and analysis Dimensions 17 Wx17.5 Dx1435 H to fit on bench in bldg13/203. Shipping FOB Destination shall be included in the overall price.
