Description

Drawings RFQ IPD This is a request for quote for 5140-01-154-3869. DESCRIPTION Aluminum, three panel tool control design, in accordance with Naval Air Engineering Center Drawing 6SE01087, Rev F, for the case assembly, and drawing 6SE01089, Rev C, for the tier assembly. Exception to Drawing: Iron phosphate pre-treatment and baked polyester powder coat finish coat, Color 17925 of FEDSTD-595. Specific alternative finishing process as follows: 1. Three stage pre-treatment consisting of: a) spray wash, b) iron phosphate treatment, c) sealing rinse. 2. Oven drying after pre-treatment and immediately prior to application of polyester powder coating. 3. Electrostatic spray application of polyester powder coating. 4. Oven baking to cure and seal polyester powder coating. Attach hinges and closing strips with 9/64 inch diameter machine type semi-tubular brass rivets per NASM 16535-232 (formerly MS 16535-232). Attach catches and handle with 3/16 inch diameter semi-tubular nickel-plated brass machine rivets per NASM 16535-324N (formerly MS16535-324N).
