- Sources Sought Information Form The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to gain knowledge of potential sources for this project including interested Small Business sources. This notice is for planning purposes only. All interested parties should respond. The United States Property & Fiscal Office for Pennsylvania (USPFO-PA) may issue a solicitation and award of a contract to establish a subsistence prime vendor to provide the following categories of items to the Pennsylvania Army National Guard: Chilled Products; Frozen Fish, Meat, Poultry; Semi-perishable Food Items (i.e., canned foods, condiments, sauces, seasonings, spices, fats, oils, confectionery, nuts, sugars, etc); Frozen Foods (fruits, vegetables, prepared foods other than fish, meat, and poultry); Fresh Fruits and Vegetables; Cereals (hot and cold); Eggs; Dairy and Ice Cream Products; Beverage and Juices; Bakery Products; Prepared food box lunch; Consumable (disposable) Products associated with the preparation and serving of food items (i.e., disposable trays, cups, plastic forks, knives, and spoons; napkins, aluminum foil, plastic wrap, and cleaning supplies). Subsistence (rations) shall meet health/sanitation standards required by USDA and the Department of Health. Additionally, the requirements of Army Technical Bulletin (TB Med 530), Occupational and Environmental Health Food Sanitation, are more stringent and therefore supersede all less stringent requirements of the other named departments. The establishment of a Indefinite-Quantity Contract under FAR Part 16.5 is anticipated. Overall contract ceiling for all orders under the contract will not exceed $20,000,000. Ordering period is expected to be an initial period of twelve (12) months, with up to four (4) options to extend the ordering period for successive twelve (12) months periods. Contract, with options, will not exceed five (5) years or the contract ceiling, whichever first occurs. All interested concerns will provide this office, in writing, a notice stating their positive intention to submit a proposal as the prime contractor no later than DECEMBER 1, 2016. This notification must include a completed and signed Sources Sought Information Form. In the event adequate Small Business Contractors are not available for adequate competition for this project, it may be advertised as unrestricted. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice shall be provided via e-mail to: brenda.l.checci.civ@mail.mil. Include the following in the subject line - SOURCES SOUGHT W912KC-17-R-0002. No facsimile responses will be honored.
