Description

Solicitation Number: VA256-17-Q-0026 Notice Type: Special Notice Synopsis: The Government intends to solicit to only one source, TrillaMed, LLC, 30100 Telegraph Road, Bingham Farms, MI, 48025-4514, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements as cited in 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). The North American Industry Classification System is 339112. The Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System (SLVHCS) currently uses General Electric (GE) Healthcare s MUSE and MARS applications to record, read, and transfer EKG studies to the electronic medical record, CPRS. The systems are running on Windows XP and must be upgraded to a Windows 7 platform in accordance to the VA Action Item #03092016-001: MEMORANDUM: Medical Equipment Running Windows XP, Server 2003, and Windows XP Embedded. The latest version of GE EKG carts have already been purchased for SLVHCS s new medical center. Thus, the MARS/MUSE cardiology system must also be updated to communicate with the newly purchased GE MAC 5500 EKG carts. This Notice of Intent is not a request for Expressions of Interest (EOI), proposals, or quotations. No telephone inquiries will be accepted and phone calls will not be returned. This purchase will be made under Acquisition of Commercial Items, FAR Part 12; Simplified Acquisition Procedures FAR Part 13; and Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized under FAR 6.302-1.
