Description

This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of potential vendors, including Small Business, Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB), and Service-Disabled Veteran-Own Small Business (SDVOSB) vendors relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 333241. The Madison VA Medical Center, Madison WI has a need for new brand name or equal Combination Oven for Nutrition and Food Services to replace existing equipment. Restrictive environmental conditions: Must fit in very tight space to replace convection ovens and must be compatible with the current Rational combination oven for cooking times. General Features Self-Cooking Center, 5 senses, Combination Oven steamer, natural gas, i cooking control, stainless steel Electrical Data (i.e., 110 v, 60 Hz, 3 Ph, etc.): 240 v/60 1ph, 105,00 BTU Dimensions, size, capacity: Overall width not to exceed 42-1/8" Overall depth not to exceed 38-1/4" Overall height not to exceed 30-3/4" Must have either 6-18 x26" pans or 12-12 x20" pans capacity Must include a stacking kit Must include a gas installation kit for natural gas Must have the door hinged on the right side Combi-steamer mode range: steam 85-265 deg F, hot air 85-575 deg F, combination 85-575 deg f Up to seven application modes Must have core temp probe w/ 6 point measurement Must have hand shower w/ automatic retracting system Up to five programmable fan speeds This is not a Request for Proposal or an announcement of a solicitation and no solicitation package exists at this time. Your responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submittals will not be returned to the sender. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 333241 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. Responses due are to be submitted by e-mail to Michael J Rosenthal at Michael.rosenthal@va.gov. The information requested must be received no later than 3:00 pm Central Standard Time on Wednesday, November 23, 2016.
