Description: Page 1 of 1 COMBINED SYNOPSIS / SOLICITATION VA246-17-Q-0130 Deliver and Install Five (5) X-Y Ceiling Lift Systems for Richmond VA Medical Center This is a combined synopsis/solicitation, written under the authority of FAR parts 12 and 13, for commercial items purchased using simplified acquisition procedures. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. Quotes shall reference VA246-17-Q-0130. This Request for Quote (RFQ) document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-89. The Network Contracting Office 6 - SAO East intends to award a firm-fixed-price purchase order for the delivery and installation of five (5) X-Y ceiling lift systems. This procurement is being conducted under FAR part 13 simplified acquisition procedures for certain commercial items and FAR Part 12.603 for Streamlined Solicitation of Commercial Items. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 339113 with a small business size standard of 750 employees. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSBs). All offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov to be considered for an award of a federal contract. The record must be complete and not missing elements such as representations and certifications. Any amendments to this RFQ will ONLY be available on the Federal Business Opportunities website (www.fbo.gov). DUE DATE: The Government will award a contract resulting from this RFQ to the responsible offeror whose quote represents the best value to the Government, using a tradeoff process. Quotes are due by 05:00 PM Eastern Standard time on 7 December 2016. Quotes received after this date and time will be considered late in accordance with 52.212-1(f) and will not be evaluated. Quotes shall be submitted via e-mail to daniel.spaulding@va.gov. SITE VISIT: A site visit will be held on Monday, 28 November 2016, 09:30AM EST (see delivery schedule for address). All questions shall be held and submitted to daniel.spaulding@va.gov after completion of the site visit.
