- The United States Air Force through Air Force Support Center (AFSC) at Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center (OC-ALC) is intending to procure service of repair Pod Controllers of line items cited below for a FFP Requirements Contract. This is a sole source service effort. •1. Estimated issue date and estimated closing/response date issued 08 December 2016, Closes 08 January 2017. •2. RFP# - FA8119-16-R-0026 •3. PR# - FD2030-16-01629 •4. Nomenclature/Noun - Pod Controllers 5. NSN - 1680-99-216-2169 FL 6. PN - 4332-1117-00 7. Application (Engine or Aircraft) - KC-135 Aircraft 8. AMC - R3R-acquire, for the second or subsequently time, directly from the actual manufacturer. The Government does not own the data or the rights to the data needed to contract repair of this part from additional sources. It has been determined to be uneconomical to buy the data or rights to the data. It is uneconomical to reverse engineer the part. This code is used when the Government did not initially purchase the data and/or rights. Approved source: Flight Refueling Limited, Cage code: U1918. 9. History - N/A 10. Description: Line Item 0001: Repair Pod Controllers. Description: Repair Pod Controllers. The aircraft Pod Controller is electronically switch controls the MPRS Pod. Quantity: 25 each. (Est Qty: basic year: 5 ea, Option 1: 5 ea, Option 2: 5 ea, Option 3: 5 ea, Option 4: 5 ea. Required Delivery - 5 each 180 days ARO 11. Mandatory Language: Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
