- This is a SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS. This is for a market survey only; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis and no contract shall be awarded from this synopsis. The U.S. Air Force, Seymour Johnson Air Force Base (SJAFB), has been tasked to identify potential sources, market capabilities and market conditions for the acquisition of a T-33 aerial demonstration contract. Interested and capable commercial sources are being sought to determine the level of interest to perform the required services as follows: provide an air show consisting of a 10-15 minute aerial demonstration using an authentic T-33 warbird. The paint theme required is Air Force Korean war. The vendor must possess a surface level flying waiver. This is not a solicitation for bid. The proposed requirement is anticipated to be a firm fixed price contract. Any resulting solicitation will be posted electronically to this site. The North American Industry Classification System is 713990 - All Other Amusement and Recreation Industries. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of vendors to compete for and execute a Firm-Fixed Price contract to perform the requirements of a T-33 aerial demonstration contract. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform an air show aerial demonstration contract. All work performed by the contractor shall be in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, standards, instructions, and commercial practices. All submittals received will be reviewed for informational purposes. The type of solicitation to be issued will depend upon the responses to this sources sought synopsis. The Government must determine and ensure there is adequate competition among the potential pool of interested, capable commercial companies.
