- The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, VISN 6 Network Contracting Office (NCO), on behalf of Richmond VA Medical Center, is conducting market research to determine potential vendor s capabilities to fulfill the requirement described below. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 811219, and the Classification code is N047. Below is a brief description on what is being sought. This is for a preventive maintenance requirement at the Richmond VA Medical Center (VAMC) located in Richmond, Virginia. The potential vendor must be an authorized dealer for Swisslog AG, and authorized to perform maintenance on Swisslog (Translogic) equipment. The requirement is for semi-annual site visits for the purpose of inspection, cleaning, adjustment, calibrations, and lubrication in accordance with the Swisslog maintenance & service manual. The pneumatic tubing system is located is an area of the facility where patrons receive critical care; therefore, emergency repairs must have a 24hr turnaround. Period of performance is expected to be on (or about) December 30, 2016 for a firm fixed-price base plus two option year period contract. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. The Government will not pay for any information solicited.
