- Salient Characteristics This sources sought is issued solely for information and planning purposes only and does NOT constitute a solicitation. All information received in response to this request for information (RFI) that is marked as proprietary will be handled accordingly. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. RESPONSE DATE: NLT 7 Dec 2016 2000 CST NAICS Code: 334220 - RADIO AND TELEVISION BROADCASTING AND WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURING Purpose: Afghan Special Security Forces (ASSF) require an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to provide for device life cycle replacement, individual parts replacements and to increase procurement for ASSF growth. Afghan Special Security Forces (ASSF) are the primary forces with operational reach due to their ability to utilize airborne ISR capabilities associated with the PC-12 Aircraft. The transition to a sustainable ASSF force structure and Afghan Sustainable Security Strategy (AS3) requires sustainment of the developing Afghan ISR technologies and devices to maintain the operational effect of strategic offensive operations. The Giga-Wave Hand-Held device is the primary means in which Afghan aircraft provide ground forces with FMV on objectives Requirements: The government is seeking potential companies who can provide like items that are equal to the "VISLINK HHT3 Brand Name" items needed for communication kits. Please see attached equipment description document for a complete list of components. The Contractor shall submit like items capable of meeting this requirement. New Equipment Only: No refurbished products. Items must be in original packaging, never used, and not altered in any way. All items must be covered by manufacturer's warranty and procured through a manufacturer approved distribution channel. Sellers must be able to document their ability to provide items through manufacturer approved distribution channels upon request. The Seller confirms to have sourced all products submitted from manufacturer approved channels for federal sales, in accordance with all applicable laws and manufacturers' current applicable policies at the time of purchase. Seller must be able to support both the product sale and product pricing, in accordance with applicable manufacturer certification/specialization requirements.
