Notice Type: Posted Date: Combined Synopsis/Solicitation December 6, 2016 Original Set Aside: Response Date: Open Market Service-Disabled Veteran Owned December 13, 2016 @ 2:00 p.m. Small Business Classification Code: NAICS Code: J041 Maintenance and Repair of Refrigeration, 811310 Commercial and Industrial Machinery Air Conditioning Equipment. and Equipment Repair and Maintenance Synopsis: The WJB Dorn VA Medical Center located in Columbia South Carolina intends to negotiate a firm fixed priced contract for services to remove and replace rubber insulation from chiller body, water boxes, stove pipe 90 degree pipe and drain piping under chiller body. Also clean surfaces and scale before installing 1 inch thick Armacell Rubber Insulation or equivalent using Armacell 520 adhesive or equivalent. This amendment is created to allow for a site visit. The site visit is scheduled for Friday, December 9, 2016 at 1:00pm EST. Please contact Mark West at Jeffrey.West3@va.gov if you intent to attend the site visit. This amendment will also extent the closing date of this solicitation to Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at 2:00pm EST. Any vendor who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement may submit a bid to the contracting office no later than December 13, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. EST. Bid packages may be sent to Mark West at Jeffrey.west3@va.gov. No telephone responses will be accepted.
