Description

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. Market Research is being conducted to Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, 8(a), Woman Owned Small Business or HUB-Zone interests. The Hampton Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) is trying to determine whether to set-aside a acquisition to provide {Septic Tank Pumping} at the {Asheville, NC} VAMC. The scope of the acquisition includes but is not limited to: Specific Requirements. The Contractors work shall include, but not be limited to: Vendor will provide twice weekly septic tank pumping of 1000 gallon holding tank located at Building 71T, Charles George VAMC, Asheville, NC. This work will be accomplished during NON-REGULAR work hours, between 6AM and 7:30AM, so access to Septic is not hindered by parked vehicles and traffic. Coverage period, One (1) year from period of award. Provide supervision, safety, and cleanup where needed. NOTE: Work is being completed in a hospital environment. The Contractor must take all precautions to ensure all tools and materials are under continuous observation and accountability. At no time will tools be left unattended or unsecured. When complete, notify the M&O POC to inspect and accept all accomplished work. Provide the M&O POC all documentation and warranty information concerning installed components/equipment and work accomplished. Ensure all invoicing documents are submitted in-accordance with the instructions provided in the formal contract. All work will be accomplished to industry standards and compliant with all current CODE requirements (Life Safety, NFPA, Electrical and Building). All Dept. of Veteran Affairs, Federal, Commonwealth of Virginia laws, regulations and codes will be complied with.. If your company is interested in performing these services, please notify our office of your intent. In response, please include the following: (a) a positive statement of your intent to submit a bid as a prime contractor (capability statement); (b) evidence of experience in work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, points of contact and telephone numbers; (c) past performance references with points of contact and phone numbers. At least two (2) references are requested, but more are desirable. Responses to this notice should also identify whether or not the firm falls into any of the socioeconomic categories listed above. Your response is required by: 9 Dec 16 @ 3pm All capable Service Disabled Veteran Small Businesses are encouraged to respond. The Government will not pay for any information solicited.
