Description

Project: 636-CSI-100, Fisher House Site Prep, Omaha, Nebraska The Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO 23, Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System Construction Contracting Product Line Team is soliciting for a construction project for the Omaha VA that shall involve a multiphase project that includes earthwork, retaining wall construction, utility installation, site grading and parking lot construction around building 8 at the Omaha VAMC campus. It includes the relocation of two modular buildings from one location on the campus to another. It includes the demolition of an existing brick building and finally the utility preparation and grading for the proposed Fisher House construction. The construction of the Fisher House is not part of this project. The above mentioned changes will be completed as required by the drawings and specifications. The estimated construction cost is between $1M and $2M. Solicitation Number VA263-15-B-0023 for this effort will be posted to FedBizOpps (www.fedbizopps.gov) on or about December 20, 2016. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings and other information necessary to bid the project. An Organized site visit will be held, see solicitation for date and time. The date for request for proposal is tentatively scheduled for January 19, 2017 (see solicitation when available for specific information.) The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance Bond, Payment Bond, or Irrevocable Letter of Credit within 10 calendar days of award notification. The Period of Performance is 135 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. THIS SOLICITATION IS SET-ASIDE FOR SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES (SDVOSBs) UNDER PUBLIC LAW 109-461.
