Description

This Sources Sought/Market Survey Notice is being conducted by the Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center, 1500 Weiss Street, Saginaw, MI 48602, to identify sources that are capable of providing three (3) days of on-site boiler training at the Aleda E. Lutz VAMC facility, pursuant to VHA Directive 2014-062. On site are high and low pressure boilers and training shall be provided for each boiler manufacturer. Training shall be conducted in a classroom setting along with real time examples to assure necessary activities for completion of the training are met. The onsite training program shall be designed to provide high quality, cost effective in-depth training for specific types of heating equipment VHA employees are required to operate and maintain. The entire course shall be provided with a PowerPoint presentation and placed on a CD, which shall be available for review and future training. The hands-on portion of the training will utilize the on-site boilers and equipment for real-life scenarios. Training materials and instruction shall be developed and provided by the contractor.
