- product description Product J&A The Army Contracting Command - Redstone Arsenal (ACC-RSA) under the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 6.302-1 entitled, quote mark Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements quote mark, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice, this announcement constitutes the only solicitation; any offers will be considered; however, it is the Government's intent to award a sole-source purchase order to Critical IO, LLC. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, the Government intends to award a sole source contract for services to provide the Aviation and Missile Research, Development, and Engineering Center (AMRDEC), Software Engineering Directorate (SED). The Software Engineering Directorate (SED) Apache Lab requires support for the Critical IO Fibre Channel Software Driver which is used on the Apache helicopter for storage and networking input/output of the avionics processors application. The Fibre Channel Software Driver is customized specifically for the Fibre Channel hardware installed on the Apache helicopter. The customized Fibre Channel Software Driver is required to support the Apache Lab environment to fix fielded software issues. Without support for this customized software driver from the vendor, Critical IO, the Fibre Channel may not be able to communicate and transfer data correctly in the Apache Lab environment to facilitate software maintenance of the Apache helicopter. Delivery date 15 JAN 17. The Contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, labor, tools, materials, supervision, transportation and other items and services necessary to perform product related configuring services in support of configuration and data management processes for the Aviation and Missile Research, Development, and Engineering Center (AMRDEC), Software Engineering Directorate (SED), Redstone Arsenal, AL. The following provisions apply to this acquisition: 52.204-7, SAM 52.204-9, Personal Identity Verification of Contractor Personnel 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial. The offeror must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with its offer. 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items. 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items. 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity 52.222-50, Combat Trafficking in Persons 52.223-18, Texting While Driving 52.232-1, Payments 52.239-1, Privacy or Security Safeguards 252.232-7003 Electronic Submission of Payment Requests and Receiving Reports. 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Technical capability and price. Award will be made to the lowest price technically acceptable offer. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). In accordance with FAR 5.207, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
