GSA will not be releasing the value of this solicitation. Q3. Does the grounds maintenance include snow plowing services? A3. Grounds maintenance does not include snow plowing in the base price of the contract. However, the Government may need snow removal services and does require that the vendor provide a price for snow removal at an additional cost to the Government. If the Government requires snow removal at a later date the vendor would be reimbursed for services rendered in snow removal. Q4. What was the last awarded amount? A4. The current monthly price for services at Douglas FB in Yakima, WA, is $15,832.64. However, the Government has revised its statement of work for the new contract and will not require some of the services that are currently being provided. Q5. Is there any part of this contract that cannot be subcontracted out? Other than making sure to follow the subcontracting rules for Federal government contracting? A5. GSA does not limit the type of work that can be subcontracted out. The potential awardee will be subject to following all Federal regulations for subcontracting work out, and the potential awardee will be the responsible party for the work to be performed.
