Description

The Naval Supply System Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk, Philadelphia Office intends to procure on behalf of the Commander, Navy Reserve Forces Command (CNRFC) the rental of postal metering equipment, maintenance and support to be located at 79 Navy Operational Support Centers (NOSC ™s) located throughout the Continental United States that are not located on or near any military installations with a United States postal service facility. It is anticipated that the resultant solicitation will result in a purchase order issued on a firm fixed price (FFP) basis. The anticipated rental period is 01 February 2017 through 31 January 2018 (and will contain four (4) one-year option periods). Interested vendors will be required to submit a price quote and past performance information. The evaluation criteria for contract award will consider past performance and the price quote to be of equal importance. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 532420 with a size standard of $32.5M. It is anticipated that the resultant solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis and is open to all authorized postal meter manufactures. This procurement is being conducted using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the test program for certain commercial items found at FAR 13.5. It is anticipated that the solicitation for this requirement will be posted in December of 2016. Interested parties are solely responsible for monitoring the aforementioned website for postings of the solicitation and any amendments thereto. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. The Government will neither award a contract nor pay for information in response to this notice. Additional information for this requirement will be listed in the solicitation upon its release, which is anticipated to be in December of 2016 to the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) website (www.neco.navy.mil). Contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) website (www.sam.gov) in order to be considered for award.
